HAND CRAFTED

OUR WOOD

Hand-picked in the heart of Michigan, our wood is 100% local coming from fallen down trees found anywhere from Orchard Lake to Oxford. The rest my husband and I find on our adventures in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. We get the wood in 10-12' slabs and cut, sand, craft and deisgn each piece to fit the need and desire of our clients. No two pieces are alike!

About Our Leather

OUR PROCESS

We pride ourselves on this part!

Each slab of wood is strategically cut into multiple pieces and finely sanded down by hand. We keep its

all-natural appearence using nothing but food grade mineral oil to perserve the surface and we suggest you keep doing the same after every use.

We burn the edges, place steel on the sides where the leather handles are attached to the board and finished with brass screws and copper nails. And for a little extra detail, we add a beautiful copper stitching if there is a natural split in the wood.

OUR QUALITY & CARE

We stand behind the quality of our charcuterie boards and want to ensure that we leave you with the right knowledge on how to care for your board after use. Its truly how the board will look its best and give it that rich color like it did when you bought it!

WASHING: DO NOT USE SOAP. Hand wipe only with warm water on both sides. This will keep the moisture level even within the wood. Towel dry and leave lean up against something for maximum air flow.

RE-OILING: You can use whatever food grade oils/waxes you prefer, I use a food grade mineral oil enriched with Vitamin E. Re-oil your charcuterie board as much as you’d like. The more you do the better it will look and longer it’ll last. But, a good rule of thumb is when the wood looks dull, it needs oil.
